Baltimore County
Baltimore County has a wide range of housing types from urban to suburban to rural. The most urban area is in and around Towson. By the time you get to the Pennsylvania line you have farms, woods and horse farms.

Parks and Recreation Areas
You have many options here besides the many gyms and athletic clubs. The county has 216 parks, 43 community facilities, and more than 82 miles of trails. You can find great bike paths along old railroad lines. Our parks range from small 1-acre properties to parks that are hundreds of acres. Lake Roland Park boasts more than 500 acres just outside the city line. Lake Roland Park has a very nice dog park and plenty of walking trails. Walk the area around the enormous Loch Raven Reservoir and stop at picnic areas, check out the wildlife near the dam, or follow the many walking trails. Oregon Ridge also has great hiking as well as a concert shell and stage. It is the summer home for the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and hosts other events as well.
Water Sports
Because the southeast side of Baltimore County ends at the Chesapeake Bay, you can find beaches and sailing centers where boaters teach people how to sail. You can also rent a boat and go fishing or crabbing. The area along the water has many places to launch or store your boat.
Historic Buildings and Sites
Baltimore offers many historic sites to see from the Benjamin Banneker House to the Hampton National Historic Site with its beautiful mansion and assorted other buildings. Battle Acre Park is only one acre but was an historic site for a battle during the War of 1812 that was part of a series of battles that led to the bombardment of Fort McHenry and the writing of the Star Spangled Banner.
Golf
Baltimore County has five public golf courses. They are located in Timonium, White Hall, Essex, and Windsor Mill. Country clubs and other private golf courses are found all around the county.
Tennis
There are many public courts to play on at schools and other county locations. There are many private courts and clubs as well. TennisBaltimore has a list of locations and other information for leagues etc.

We regularly deal with other locations nearby such as Dundalk and Sparrows Point on the east side of Baltimore and Pikesville, and Owings Mills, Reisterstown, and Catonsville on the west or northwest side of Baltimore.
